This policy explains what happens to the details you give through Replacement Windows Tunbridge Wells, whether by the form, by phone or by email.
Who receives your details
Enquiries are handled by the FENSA-registered window and door installer described on how enquiries work. It is the controller of your personal data and will identify itself by name when it contacts you. You can reach it about your data at [email protected].
What we collect
- From the form: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the rough number of windows or doors, and anything you write about the house.
- From a call: your number and what you tell us.
- From an email: your address and the content of your message.
The form has a hidden field used to catch automated spam. We don't collect payment details, and the site has no analytics or advertising tracking.
Why, and on what basis
We use your details to answer your enquiry, arrange a survey and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. If you go ahead, the installer keeps the records it needs for the contract, guarantees and building regulations certification.
How long it is kept
If an enquiry doesn't turn into a job, your details are deleted 12 months after we were last in contact. If you go ahead, the records of the job are kept for six years after the work is finished, for tax, guarantee and legal reasons, and then deleted.
Who else sees it
Your details aren't sold or shared for marketing. They pass through the providers that host this site and deliver its email, which act only on instructions.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by emailing [email protected]. If you're unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
